Johnny Winter's The Masters
Production Notes:
Production information related to this record.
Double slimline jewelcase. 1998 Eagle Records release
CD 1
is an inharmonious mixture of excellent but well-known official tracks from
"And" (1,3,4 and 5) and "John Dawson Winter III" (2) albums and non-official
boring stuff from the early years (6 to 14). "Be Careful With a Fool" is the
best of all these last tracks but is not as good as the fantastic official version.
CD 2
is a compilation of live tracks taken from the following records: "Live at the
Texas Opry House" (tracks 1, 2 and 3), "Texas Int. Pop Festival/White Lighting"
(tracks 4, 5 and 6) and "Live in Houston 69/Walking by Myself" (tracks 7 and
8) (Eagle Records has apparently close relations with TKO/Magnum company).
