Movie-Film Production Information Summary:Having graduated high school, mild-mannered science student, part-time photo journalist, Peter Parker --also known as the occasional web-spinning superhero, Spider-Man--is now attending college at Empire State University. Two new villains, Dr. Octopus and the Lizard, set out to ensure his demise. Complications ensue on the romantic front as well, as astronaut and J. Ecartelé entre son identité secrète de Spider-Man et sa vie d'étudiant, Peter Parker n'a pas réussi à garder celle qu'il aime, Mary Jane, qui est aujourd'hui comédienne et fréquente quelqu'un d'autre. Guidé par son seul sens du devoir, Peter vit désormais chacun de ses pouvoirs à la fois comme un don et comme une malédiction.
Par ailleurs, l'amitié entre Peter et Harry Osborn est elle aussi menacée. Harry rêve plus que jamais de se venger de Spider-Man, qu'il juge responsable de la mort de son père.
La vie de Peter se complique encore lorsque surgit un nouvel ennemi : le redoutable Dr Otto Octavius. Cerné par les choix et les épreuves qui engagent aussi bien sa vie intime que l'avenir du monde, Peter doit affronter son destin et faire appel à tous ses pouvoirs afin de se battre sur tous les fronts...
Film plot in English:
Peter Parker (Tobey McGuire) can't seem to catch any kind of break. Being Spiderman has brought him nothing but problems as far as his personal life is concerned. Not only that, Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) is engaged to astronaut John Jameson, and Peter may lose her forever. Things are so bad for him that he is pushed past his breaking point, so he decides that he doesn't want to be Spiderman anymore, until a freak accident transforms Dr. Otto Octavius into Dr. Octopus, a super-villian with four metal tentacles coming out of him. Peter realizes that only Spiderman can stop him, but of course, problems arise. Mary Jane gets caught in the middle, and Harry Osborn, who still blames Spiderman for the death of his father, Norman Osborn, also the Green Goblin, wants him dead. Spiderman will have to push himself past his limits if he's going to survive.
