Norah Jones' debut album, Come Away With Me, has sold more than 4 million copies in the U.S. alone and has been nominated for eight Grammy awards including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist. Earlier this year, it reigned on the top of the Billboard Top 200 chart for three consecutive weeks. After sharing the bill with the likes of John Mayer, Willie Nelson and Dave Matthews, Norah's solo shows became a sensation and her fans fell in love with her intimate performances as they had with her album. In August 2002, Norah performed in front of a sell-out crowd at the House of Blues in New Orleans. Live in New Orleans features ten tracks from Come Away with Me, as well as the covers "Comes Love" and "Bessie Smith". It also includes an unreleased Jones composition: "What Am I to You," and "Something is Calling You," written by the Grammy-winning Jesse Harris ("Don't Know Why"). : |
