Jennifer Garner
Biography of Jennifer Garner
Jennifer Garner, who has catapulted into stardom with her lead role on the series Alias, has come a long way from her birthplace of Houston, Texas. Raised in Charleston, West Virginia, by her mother Pat, a retired English teacher, and her father, Bill, a former chemical engineer, Jennifer Garner was the middle sibling of three girls.
Jennifer Garner spent nine years of her adolescence studying ballet and describes her years in dance as ones characterized by determination, rather than talent, being driven mostly by a love of the stage. Jennifer Garner took this determination with her when she enrolled at Denison University as a chemistry major, a decision that was later changed to a drama major when she found that her passions for the stage were stronger than her love of science.
New York attracted the young actress after college where she worked as a hostess while pursuing a career in film and television. Her most recent move has been to Los Angeles, a decision that led to a role on the show "Felicity" (1998) where Jennifer Garner met her future husband, Scott Foley.
Jennifer Garner has appeared in numerous other television production as well as such films as Pearl Harbor (2001) and Dude, Where's My Car? (2000). Jennifer and her husband live in the San Fernando Valley with two dogs and a cat. Aside from filming Alias (2001), Jennifer Garner enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, and inspired by her character on the show, kickboxing.

LONDON: After his ill-fated romance with Latino diva Jennifer Lopez, Hollywood hunk Ben Affleck had vowed never to date a Hollywood actress but now he seems to be going back on his promise as he is reportedly having an affair with actress Jennifer Garner.
According to The National Enquirer , the Oscar winning actor Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are keeping their romance under wraps and avoid the limelight as far as possible, but they secretly meet up as often as can and go for hikes, runs on the beach and morning cups of coffee.
Insiders have revealed that the two stars, who acted together in the movie Daredevil are both quite media shy and Ben Affleck fell for Jennifer Garner because she is the absolute opposite of Jennifer Lopez.
"Jennifer Garner's a girl who throws herself totally into her work and keeps her relationships quiet. Jennifer Garner isn't clingy or drawn to the Hollywood limelight. She isn't super demanding of Ben Affleck time, either. Jennifer Garner also fine with Ben Affleck playing poker in Las Vegas for several days at a time," the report quoted an insider as saying.

Elektra Summary: In this comic book film spin-off of the blockbuster Daredevil movie, Alias star Jennifer Garner stars as Elektra Natchios, a beautiful and deadly assassin who finds herself at odds with "The Hand," the clan of mystical ninjas who trained - and then abandoned her. At the request of the villain Kirigi, she is assigned to target a Harbor Island man named Mark Miller because, she is told, of an act his grandfather had performed. A widower, Miller is a likeable man with a charming 13-year-old daughter Abby. After falling for him, Elektra becomes his protector and has to fend off four ninja assassins dispatched by Kirigi. But there is more to Mark Miller than Elektra knows, as he has aligned himself with "Stick," Elektra's former mentor, and both Miller and his daughter are quite able to defend themselves. In the end, Elektra must face off with Kirigi himself.
