"iBg World" is a 1986 live album by Joe Jackson. The album was recorded in front of an invited audience at the Roundabout Theatre in New York City on 22–25 January 1986. Jackson's intent was to capture the excitement and spontaneity of a live performance, but without any noise from the crowd. The audience remained silent during the recording as per Jackson's request, so we do not hear any applause. |

This album "JOE JACKSON - Night and Day" is Joe Jackson's fifth album, released in June 1982. The title is from a Cole Porter song, and the album reflects a transition to a more sophisticated level of songwriting. The album pays tribute to the wit and style of Cole Porter (and indirectly to New York). This was Jackson's only studio album to reach the Top 5 in both the UK and U.S |

"Dog Eat Dog" is the twelfth album by Joni Mitchell, released in 1985. It was her second album for Geffen Records. The album was a departure for Mitchell due to its synthetic sound (featuring production work by British synthesiser musician Thomas Dolby). Lyrically, the album dealt with prominent issues in mid 1980s society, such as televangelists, consumerism and famine in Ethiopia. |
