Proprietary mini-USB cable the Olympus E-PL1 requires a proprietary mini USB cable. This is rather unhandy when you travel as you will need to carry multiple USB cables for connecting your laptop computer.
Short power charger cablethe power-cable of the PS-BCS1 is around 30cm which is really too short for those difficult to reach wall plugs.
Small power-on buttonthe power-on button is very small and the power-on indicator light near to invisible on bright light days.
Expensive Accessories: eg Olympus Electronic ViewFinder VF-2, expensive. Two different viewfinders, check the prices of these , if you plan to buy one of these accesoires
